What we collect, why, and what we do not do with it.

You do not need an account

Browsing CardBuyer requires no sign-up and no personal details. Selling a card happens on the dealer’s own submission form, under their privacy policy, not ours.

Sellers are not identified on this site

Purchase records carry an opaque, hashed reference for the seller. It is used only to count how many distinct people have sold to a dealer, and how many came back. It is never displayed, never linked to a name, and cannot be reversed into one.

What we do store

If you subscribe to updates we keep your email address, and nothing else, until you ask us to remove it. We also log which dealer links are clicked, so we can tell dealers how much interest their listing generates — that log records the page and the dealer, not who you are.

Analytics

We use privacy-preserving analytics that set no advertising cookies and do not track you across other sites.

Your rights

You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted. Email hello@cardbuyer.co.uk and we will action it.
